Delhi.....Capital of India.where everything is so fast and managed but this wednesday became the black wednesday for delhities. Like everyday, on 7th September 2011 people gathered in highcourt but no one knew that in few minutes many innocent life would be end. A high intensity briefcase bomb rocked the crowded reception area of the Delhi court killing 12 people and injuring more than 80 in a major terror attack that struck the capital.

The blast occured at 10:14 AM between gate no. 4 & 5 when around 200 visitors mostly litigants were waiting in queue to get passes to enter the premises. Several lawyers were also present at that time. They came from different places for justice but got dead bodies of their dear ones....severed limbs and pieces of flesh lay strewn on the ground.
Though unverified, Islamic terror outfit HUJI (harkat-ul-jihad-islami) and IM (Indian Mujaheddin) has claimed the bombing but what is truly shocking is that the blast comes barely four months after a low intensity bomb went off at the same court.Given the precedent one would have expected adequate security measures to be put in place to avoid a repeat but despite the Delhi highcourtbeing a high value target in the heart of the national capital not even metal detectors and CCTV surveillance were in place. This speaks of an extraordinarily lax security culture.
Many politicians came and show the sympathy toward the people who are injured or dead.Government promises to give 4 lakhs to the family who lost their relatives in this bomb blast. But is this enough???
Can money fill the place of a son for a mother, a husband for a wife, a father for the child???
The challenge is to convert our security apparatus from a reactive to a preventive force. If our techniques and training are backward, we shouldn't hesitate to learn from foreign security agencies whose counter terror record is much better !!!
India is our country and it's our responsibility to save our country....Be united....Jai Hind !!!
